The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weed gets a clinch.
Weed breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A jab from Kuronoa misses.
Kuronoa falls off balance throwing a combination
and Weed decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kuronoa's guard.
Kuronoa working for a triangle but Weed defends it easily.
Kuronoa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Weed is aware though and is defending well.
Weed slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Weed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuronoa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weed has managed to get both his arms back between Kuronoa's legs - danger averted.

Kuronoa's jab looks to have found its range, popping Weed under the eye.
Kuronoa cracks a nice hook into Weed's ribs.
