The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen throws a series of punches but Maynard avoids them all with ease.
Cohen throws a right hand that Maynard ducks under and follows up with a left that Maynard also avoids with ease.
Cohen throws a combination. Maynard tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Maynard drives through with a takedown into guard.
Maynard throwing strikes but missing.
Maynard is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cohen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cohen has escaped and now he's on top!
Cohen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cohen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cohen wants to pass the guard but Maynard is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cohen is looking to stand up but Maynard won't let him.
Maynard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cohen manages to get himself to full guard.
Maynard forces his way into half guard.
Maynard is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cohen has managed to free his arm - good work.
Cohen is pressing down on Maynard's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cohen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maynard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maynard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cohen is pulling down on Maynard's head to control his posture.
Maynard wants to control from the top but Cohen keeps moving.

Maynard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cohen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cohen is posturing up here but Maynard has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cohen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cohen has to tap! Slick submission there by Maynard!
