Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dabest instigates a clinch.
Dabest content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Dabest - that landed with a thud.
Dabest is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Barry tries to score a body lock takedown but Dabest shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dabest is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Barry gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The referee calls for Dabest to work.

Dabest is looking to stand up but Barry isn't so interested in that idea.
Barry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dabest dives on top into guard.

Dabest tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Dabest is breathing heavily.
Barry tries to roll over but Dabest keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Dabest seems content to control.

Barry pushes Dabest off and gets back to his feet.
Barry misses with a takedown attempt
and Dabest counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dabest connects with a nice short shot to Barry's temple.
Dabest slows the pace down in half guard.
Barry regains full guard. Nicely done.

Dabest knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barry on the ground.

Barry pulls Dabest in close to prevent any damage.
Dabest is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barry has a closed guard, preventing Dabest from standing up.

Barry tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Dabest wants to get back to his feet but Barry is dominant here and he's now got Dabest's back!
Barry is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Dabest is in real trouble.
Barry is cranking Dabest's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dabest! He's tightened the choke and Dabest is tapping out!
