Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Size looks for a takedown but Champman sprawls well.
Nice takedown defense from Champman. No joy for Size on that attempt.
Size changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Champman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Size is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Champman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Champman is looking to reverse the position.
Size is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Champman has escaped the position, nice work there.
Champman tries to improve position but can't.
Size is chipping away with strikes.
Champman is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Size looks up at the clock and then as Champman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Size smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Size has hold of Champman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Champman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Size cranks the arm and Champman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Champman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Roni Size!
