Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between lager Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Koloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin comes to the ring accompanied by yes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, lager Assassin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Koloff! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koloff looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Koloff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Assassin has a takedown stuffed. Assassin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Koloff throws a right hand that Assassin ducks under and follows up with a left that Assassin also avoids with ease. Assassin throws a jab but it's blocked by Koloff. Koloff uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Assassin.
Koloff tries a head kick but it misses.
Assassin missing with a left hand there. Koloff was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Koloff fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Assassin scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Koloff avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Koloff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Assassin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Assassin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koloff had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Assassin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Koloff Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Assassin's back instead. Koloff keeps control of the position as Assassin tries to break free.

Assassin breaks Koloff's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Koloff utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Assassin tries for a takedown but Koloff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A punch combination from Assassin misses. Assassin lands a glancing blow to the side of Koloff's head. Assassin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Koloff paws at him with a jab and circles away. Assassin moves out of range of the body kick from Koloff.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Assassin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for lager Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koloff darts in and clinches Assassin up against the ropes. Assassin prevents the takedown attempt.

Assassin is looking to work some ground and pound but Koloff has wrist control. Koloff working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Assassin. Assassin trying to control but Koloff is working from the bottom. Assassin wants to pass the guard but Koloff is keeping the position. Koloff controls Assassin momentarily but Assassin frees himself. Koloff keeping moving, preventing Assassin from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Assassin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Koloff sees it coming and avoids it easily. Assassin shoots in for a takedown but Koloff shows good takedown defense. Assassin fails to land with a series of punches.
Assassin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Assassin blocks the strikes from Koloff.
Koloff has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Assassin is working away from the top position though. Assassin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Koloff defends it well. Assassin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assassin works his way into full mount! Koloff is wriggling around trying to escape.

Assassin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Assassin trying to control but Koloff is having none of it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Assassin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Koloff has managed to escape the submission attempt.

lager Assassin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Koloff stuffs the takedown. Koloff throws a combination that misses and Assassin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Assassin cracks Koloff with a solid left hand. Assassin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Assassin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Koloff is keeping the position for now. Koloff is trying to control the position but Assassin postures up. Assassin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Assassin stands up over Koloff, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Assassin distracts Koloff with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Assassin thows a big elbow that misses. Koloff wants to sweep here but Assassin controlling him for the moment.

Koloff takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Assassin is looking to take a break and control but Koloff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Koloff is trying to get back to half guard. Assassin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Koloff! lager Assassin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Assassin looking to finish Koloff with some ground and pound. This is bad for Koloff! Assassin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Koloff can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Koloff defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Assassin. Assassin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Koloff is looking to escape. Koloff tries to lock up and control but Assassin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Koloff is bucking up trying to escape but Assassin cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Assassin lands a big elbow. Assassin looking to control but Koloff is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assassin working for a submission but Koloff is keeping him at bay. Assassin looking to secure an arm triangle but Koloff defends it well. Assassin looking to finish Koloff with some ground and pound. This is bad for Koloff! Koloff wants to get back to his feet.
Koloff sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Assassin lands a nice short elbow. Assassin lands with a punch from half guard. Assassin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

lager Assassin dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
A punch combination from Koloff misses. Assassin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Assassin tries for a takedown but Koloff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Assassin wants to work for an arm triangle but Koloff is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Assassin is trying to control the action in half guard but Koloff is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Assassin is working for a kimura but Koloff is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Koloff defending well as Assassin loads up on a big left hand. Assassin shoots in and drives through. Koloff sprawls well. Assassin lands a nice looking body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Koloff goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Assassin looks for a takedown but Koloff sprawls well. Koloff misses with a head kick.
Assassin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Koloff's guard. Assassin is pushing down on Koloff's leg trying to pass to half guard. Koloff is fighting to maintain full guard but Assassin has managed to sneak the leg through. Assassin scoring with strikes to the body and head. Assassin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Assassin is pressing down on Koloff's thigh, looking to free his foot. Koloff is holding on for now. Ivan Koloff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koloff is refusing to be controlled, as Assassin sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koloff gets full guard. lager Assassin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Assassin trying to move into half guard but instead Koloff has managed to sweep! Assassin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Koloff's guard. Assassin stands and throws Koloff's legs to the side, diving into side control. Assassin in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Koloff is trying to control Assassin's posture but Assassin avoids it. Assassin wants to control but Koloff is keeping him busy. Assassin controls the position from side control. Koloff is not content to let Assassin control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! lager Assassin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Assassin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
