Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 1511 p4p, 186 weight class) and Toshiro Montero (ranked 2547 p4p, 289 weight class). Brown's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Some Bodies Gonna Get It. Montero has chosen Danzig - Mother as his entrance music. The key to victory for John Brown has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 23 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, John Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toshiro Montero! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A slow jab from Montero misses its intended target. Toshiro Montero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Montero misses with a looping right. Brown thinks about countering with a head kick. Good shot there by Montero. Montero misses with a low kick.
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Montero is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Montero circles away and we're back to standing. Montero thows a left - swing and a miss! Brown uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Montero. Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Montero swivels and escapes. Montero throws a leg kick and Brown counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Montero throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and checks it nicely. It looked like Brown was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Montero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown scores with a takedown into Montero's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Montero has locked up a guillotine! Montero's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brown is holding on here and Montero must be using up a lot of energy. Brown has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Montero gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Toshiro Montero! Toshiro Montero was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, John Brown stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry Fans I Lost, But I'll Comeback And Be Better Before'.
