Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olaf Frost!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlemenko connects with a looping right hand.
Frost moves out of range as Shlemenko strikes.
Shlemenko throws out a loose jab but Frost uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shlemenko tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Frost moves into the clinch.
Frost stalling the fight.
Shlemenko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Frost is working for takedown but Shlemenko is calmly controlling the position for now.
Frost lands a body shot in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Frost fails to land.
Shlemenko misses with a punch to the body.
Frost blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Frost.
Frost presses Shlemenko against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Frost is trying to break free.
Shlemenko's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Frost lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Frost lands a hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A right hook to the body lands for Frost.
Frost tries a body shot but Shlemenko blocks it.

Frost lands a nice shot to the body.
A short right from Frost.
Frost lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Frost lands a left hand that snaps the head of Shlemenko backwards.
Frost misses with a hook from the clinch.
Frost tries to work over Shlemenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Frost gets through Shlemenko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Frost throws a punch but it's blocked by Shlemenko.
Frost tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shlemenko's elbow.
A nice right hand lands inside from Frost.
A short uppercut from Frost.
Frost lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Frost working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Frost is working for takedown but Shlemenko is calmly controlling the position for now.
Frost throws a punch but it's blocked by Shlemenko.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shlemenko tries to throw a body punch but Frost avoids it by throwing Shlemenko back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shlemenko has a couple of punches blocked by Frost.

Frost breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frost cracks the inside of Shlemenko's front leg.
Some wild striking there from Frost.
Shlemenko throws an overhand right that lands on Frost's shoulder, as Frost tries to avoid the shot.
Shlemenko throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Frost to counter with a crisp jab.

Shlemenko gets tackled into the cage by Frost. Frost maintains the clinch.
Shlemenko misses with a punch on the inside.
Frost tries to throw a body punch but Shlemenko avoids it by throwing Frost back against the cage.
Frost lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Frost's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Shlemenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shlemenko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shlemenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frost manages to avoid it.
Shlemenko throws a body punch but Frost moves out of range.
Shlemenko dodges the punch combination from Frost.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shlemenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left and a right from Frost both land. Nice combination.


Shlemenko is rocked!
Shlemenko wants to stay close but Frost steps back to make room for something. Shlemenko seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Frost and Shlemenko drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Olaf Frost!
Olaf Frost decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
