Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sigge Strop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigge Strop had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sigge Strop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Declan Walker! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Walker there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Strop has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Strop shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Walker scores with a takedown into Strop's guard. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Strop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Strop bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walker's guard. Walker keeping moving, preventing Strop from controlling successfully. Strop not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Walker pushes Strop off and gets back to his feet.
Strop moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off. Strop tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strop doesn't manage to clinch there - Walker circles away.
Strop doesn't succeed with the takedown and Walker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Strop takes the fight into the clinch. Strop prevents a takedown attempt there.
Strop jumps guard but Walker stands there with Strop around his waist. Strop gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sigge Strop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strop fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Walker connects with a knee to the head.
Strop lands a body shot. Strop drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Walker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Strop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker gets caught flat footed, as Strop shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Strop wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving. Strop stays in close to Walker's body and controls the position. Strop trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Strop is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Strop misses with an uppercut. Strop misses with a takedown attempt and Walker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Strop is breathing heavily. Walker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Strop jumps guard but Walker stands there with Strop around his waist. Strop gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Strop goes for a takedown attempt but Walker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Strop takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Strop doesn't succeed with the takedown and Walker counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Walker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Walker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Strop has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Strop is trying to keep Walker in close.
Walker controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Walker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Strop is proving hard to escape from. Strop working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Walker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Declan Walker dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Walker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Strop on the side of the head. Walker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Strop misses with a takedown and Walker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Strop is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Walker. Strop misses with a takedown and Walker counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Strop wants to control but Walker is keeping busy.
Walker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Walker wants to control but Strop is keeping him busy. Walker is pressing down on Strop's thigh, looking to free his foot. Strop is holding on for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strop makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Strop. Strop looking to control.
Walker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Walker works a leg free and moves into half guard. Walker throwing shots but Strop is blocking nicely. Walker scoring with strikes to the body and head. Walker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strop missing with punches from the bottom.
Walker prevents Strop from improving his position. Walker postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Strop to stand up. Walker drives through and clinches with Strop against the cage.
Walker fails to pull guard.
Strop tries to pull guard but Walker won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sigge Strop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Strop gets control of Walker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Strop will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Strop is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Walker frees his head nicely. Oh but Strop has switched to an armbar! Walker is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
