Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Paynuss Chonus (ranked 7873 p4p, 711 weight class) and Jonathan Crane (ranked 22677 p4p, 798 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chonus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Reverend Paynus. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paynuss Chonus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Crane!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crane gets tackled into the ropes by Chonus. Chonus maintains the clinch.
Crane prevents a body shot from Chonus.
Crane working hard to break the clinch.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Crane tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chonus's elbow.

Crane is trying to push Chonus away but Chonus has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Crane swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Crane blocks a body shot from Chonus.
Crane's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Chonus is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Crane is defending well for now.

A frustrated look appears on Crane's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Chonus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Paynuss Chonus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jonathan Crane seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chonus backing away here, and Crane unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Chonus gets through Crane's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chonus makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Crane blocks a punch to the side of the head.

A close second round but Jonathan Crane will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Crane was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Donk. Chonus catches Crane right on the button with a cross.
Chonus misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crane throws a lazy right hand but Chonus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chonus dips to his left and cracks Crane with an uppercut!

Chonus cracks Crane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crane goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Chonus lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Crane tries to work over Chonus's front leg with a kick but Chonus checks it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paynuss Chonus.
I think Chonus has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
