And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Jennings!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillashaw tests Jennings's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jennings throws a leg kick
and Dillashaw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dillashaw looks to land a combination. Jennings sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Joe Jennings has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Dillashaw. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dillashaw.
Jennings closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jennings looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dillashaw jabs at Jennings's body.
Jennings moves in looking to clinch but Dillashaw pushes him off.
Jennings tries to clinch
and Dillashaw counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Jennings! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Dillashaw!
