Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Butcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pjotr Plumbowicz!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher throws a combination that misses

and Plumbowicz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Plumbowicz.
Butcher wants to sweep but no luck.
Butcher is working hard here to advance position.

Plumbowicz drops back looking for a leg! Butcher is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Butcher manages to kick Plumbowicz off! Plumbowicz jumps back into Butcher's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plumbowicz wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position.
Butcher wants to sweep but no luck.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Butcher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Butcher will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Butcher wants to stand up but Plumbowicz is controlling him.
Butcher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Plumbowicz manages to get himself to full guard.

Plumbowicz is trying to keep Butcher in close.
Plumbowicz lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Butcher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Plumbowicz is fighting to break Butcher's control of his arms but Butcher is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Butcher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Butcher is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Plumbowicz forces his way into half guard.
Butcher flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Butcher trying to control but Plumbowicz postures up.
Butcher tries to roll over but Plumbowicz keeps him under control.

Plumbowicz is working for a kimura but Butcher is defending it quite comfortably.
Butcher tries to kick Plumbowicz off in order to stand up. Plumbowicz Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Butcher is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Plumbowicz off and has taken his back!
Plumbowicz trying to control the action but Butcher just sinks the hooks in.
Plumbowicz covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Butcher lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Plumbowicz.
I really don't envy Plumbowicz right now.
Plumbowicz covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Plumbowicz trying to control the action but Butcher just sinks the hooks in.
A lull in the action here.
Butcher is punishing Plumbowicz with strikes - can he finish him?!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Butcher doesn't have the hooks in and Plumbowicz manages to turn into his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Butcher has his hands on Plumbowicz's head, controlling the position.
Butcher wants to sweep here but Plumbowicz controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Butcher will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A telegraphed right hand from Plumbowicz misses the target.
Butcher fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Butcher is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Butcher connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Plumbowicz to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Butcher!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve Butcher!
