Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Myles Rider (ranked 2224 p4p, 110 weight class) and Paolo Santos (ranked 4935 p4p, 244 weight class). Paolo Santos struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Myles Rider has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Myles Rider ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paolo Santos! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rider connects with a crisp jab. Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Santos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rider blocks a head kick by Santos.
Rider swats away the attempt to clinch by Santos. Rider bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Santos's head backwards. Santos should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The crowd cheers as Rider lands an impressive looking overhand right. Santos doesn't seem phased though. Myles Rider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Rider throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Santos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rider lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Santos blocks a jab. Some wild striking there from Rider .

Santos tries to clinch but Rider is having none of it. Santos tries for a takedown but Rider sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rider throws a lazy right hand but Santos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Santos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Rider connects with a crisp jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice sprawl there from Rider as Santos shoots in. Myles Rider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paolo Santos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rider works Santos's body with a nice hook. Santos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rider swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Santos looks winded! Rider lands a nice hook to Santos's body. Santos takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Rider gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Rider manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Santos takes a shot to the head. Rider is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A short right from Rider on the inside. Rider has Santos pressed against the cage, preventing Santos from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Rider lands a right hand that snaps the head of Santos backwards. Santos stalling in the clinch but Rider improves position. Santos working hard to break the clinch. Rider lands an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rider lands an uppercut. A short left from Rider . Still in the clinch, Rider scores with a nice short uppercut. Rider 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Santos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rider avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Rider cracks Santos with an open hand slap. Rider slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Rider connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Santos's hands.
Santos is rocked! Rider throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Santos is still on wobbly legs! Can Rider finish him? Rider keeps the fight on the outside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rider works Santos's body with a nice hook. Rider drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Santos's head, knocking him out cold! Rider is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
