Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Parish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Valenti!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valenti shoots in but Parish avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Parish throws a series of punches but Valenti avoids them all with ease.
Valenti closes the distance looking to clinch
and Parish counters with a one-two to the body.
Parish scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Paul Valenti has been cut.
Valenti tries to clinch but Parish moves out of range.
Valenti walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Parish cracks Valenti with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Valenti tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Parish pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Valenti is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Parish!
