Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meadows waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pack.
Pack shoots in and gets a takedown into Meadows's guard.
Pack working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Meadows's head.
Meadows knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pack on the ground.
Pack tries to free his leg and advance position but Meadows is retaining full guard.
Meadows looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Meadows can't keep his opponent in guard - Pack advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pack trying to control from half guard but Meadows is working away.
Pack looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meadows is looking for a sweep. Pack is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pack wants to work for an arm triangle but Meadows is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pack scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Meadows is not content to let Pack control the position.
Pack passes to side control.
Pack in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Pack looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Pack lands some shots froms side control.
Pack thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Meadows tries to bench press Pack off him but Pack keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pack lands a decent elbow from side control.
Meadows is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Pack landing a few strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Pack has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Meadows is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pack yanks on the arm and Meadows is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pack.

Justin Pack was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
