Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Stark (ranked 5860 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Moore (ranked 7518 p4p, 0 weight class). Calvin Moore has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zachary Stark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin Moore! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore has taken the fight to the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Stark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moore darts in and clinches Stark up against the cage. Stark is pushing Moore up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Stark's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moore dives in and scores a takedown into Stark's guard. Stark pushes Moore off and gets back to his feet.
Stark closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Moore's guard. Moore has his feet on Stark's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moore gets the takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Moore is controlling him well. Stark is trying to control Moore's posture but Moore avoids it. Stark is looking for a sweep. Moore working away. Moore lands a decent elbow from side control. Stark sneaks back into half guard. Stark is trying to get back to full guard. Moore is trying to control the action in half guard but Stark is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Moore looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Moore with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stark tries to kick Moore off but Moore keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stark keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Stark wants to control but Moore is keeping busy.
Stark is trying to stand up here but Moore is controlling him well. Moore is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stark sees it coming and defends easily. Stark desperately trying to maintain half guard. Stark is trying to stand back up but Moore is controlling him
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Moore misses with a two punch combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stark. Moore drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stark explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Moore looks winded! A shot to the body from Moore misses and Stark counters with a one-two to the body. A head kick by Moore misses and Stark counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stark. This has been an exciting period of action! Stark stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Stark landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Moore has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Stark pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Moore moves into range and clinches up with Stark.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stark using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Stark avoiding damage.
Stark has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Stark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stark breaks the clinch.
Stark will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. As Stark backs off Moore throws a huge counter combo but Stark manages to avoid it all. Moore fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Moore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Moore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Stark throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Moore misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zachary Stark will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stark shoots in and bounces Moore off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Stark will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Moore avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Moore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stark throws a big elbow that misses. Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stark. Stark avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stark working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moore's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Moore is breathing heavily. Stark postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Moore is adopting a defensive guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moore can do anything to dispel that myth. Stark distracts Moore with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Stark decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Stark avoids the body shot from Moore.
Moore drives through and clinches with Stark against the cage.
Stark tries to break the clinch but Moore is controlling the position. Stark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Calvin Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore gets caught napping as Stark dives in and scores a takedown. Moore manages to retain guard. Stark has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stark is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stark cracks Moore with a solid left hand. Stark lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Stark missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stark postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Moore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Moore looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stark landing with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Stark in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Zachary Stark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Moore avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stark throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stark content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stark got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stark has managed to get both his arms back between Moore's legs - danger averted. Stark postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Stark is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moore can do to turn this around? Stark stopping the sweep attempt from Moore. Stark works over Moore with some ground and pound from guard. Stark working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stark.

Moore looking to score a takedown here. Stark is defending well but Moore drives through and ends up in Stark's guard. Stark has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Moore off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moore as he jumps to the side. Moore feints the counter takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zachary Stark dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Stark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Moore tries to buck Stark off but Stark is having none of it. Stark misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Stark cracks Moore with a big elbow. Stark tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stark has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Stark throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stark wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moore, who protects the arm well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Moore defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark is trying to get an arm triangle but Moore is defending well. Stark looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Moore keeping his opponent close. Stark postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Stark misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stark stands up. Moore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stark's guard. Stark pushes Moore off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Moore works the jab nicely. Moore rushes Stark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Moore ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moore no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Moore looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stark gets to his feet. Moore looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Stark tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moore defends well and Stark ends up having to push Moore into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It seemed like Moore was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Stark goes for a double leg but Moore avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moore continues to drive forward. Stark avoids the head kick by Moore.
Stark shoots for a double leg takedown but Moore sprawls well. He's pushed Stark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zachary Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stark changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Stark manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Moore misses with a few strikes there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore misses with a head kick.
Stark gets a takedown into half guard. Stark missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Stark is working for a submission of some sort.
Moore is looking to control Stark's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moore avoid being mounted? Calvin Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zachary Stark is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Moore wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zachary Stark. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stark, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
