Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Test Guy (ranked 4043 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Lee (ranked 6494 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Guess who’s back - Rakim as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lee is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

It looks like Kevin Lee has been cut.
Test Guy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Guy scores with a punch to the head.

Lee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Guy to the ground. Lee is now in Guy's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lee stands up and beckons Guy to his feet.
Guy is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
The crowd cheers as Guy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lee doesn't seem phased though.

Guy misses with a double jab.
Lee with the counter takedown but Guy avoids it easily.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Guy sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lee escapes and gets back to his feet.

Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Guy is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lee is controlling him well.
Kevin Lee has got the better of the ground game so far.
Guy bucks up and tries to throw Lee off but instead Lee has got his back!
Lee just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Guy is looking for a way out.
I would not like to be Guy right now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lee lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Lee struggling to land strikes to the head as Guy covers up.
Guy has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Lee.
Lee misses with punches from the back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lee keeps control of the position easily here as Guy tries to buck him off.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Lee.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Guy enables Lee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Guy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

As Guy backs off Lee throws a huge counter combo but Guy manages to avoid it all.

Lee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Test Guy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Guy wants to get back to his feet but Lee is dominant here and he's now got Guy's back!

Guy is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Lee.

Lee is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Guy. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
