Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Snow (ranked 1808 p4p, 263 weight class) and Cleon Wright (ranked 626 p4p, 90 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cleon Wright! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow missing with a left hand there. Wright was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wright has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Snow is landing a low percentage of strikes. Snow jabs at Wright's body. Wright scores with a spinning back kick! Wright works Snow's body with a nice hook. Snow throws a body shot but no joy. Wright feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Snows jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nice straight punches there by Wright. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wright. Wright gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wright preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snow throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wright works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Snow looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow postures up in Wright's guard and throws a big left but Wright blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Snow is looking to work some ground and pound but Wright has wrist control. Wright manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snow manages to get himself to full guard.
Snow looking for a sweep. Not yet Snow, not yet. Snow working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wright. Wright working some strikes from top position. Wright with a flurry of punches that miss. Wright preventing the sweep. Snow is trying to hold Wright in close to prevent damage but Wright has managed to pass into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wright lands a nice short elbow. Wright throwing shots but Snow is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wright working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Snow is refusing to be controlled, as Wright sits in half guard. Snow has hold of Wright's hands but Wright slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wright is thwarting Snow's attempts to control the position. Wright looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Snow with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Snow is looking for a sweep. Wright is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Snow taking some punishment here, with Wright in his half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Snow manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wright is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wright wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving. Snow throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wright postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wright lands a couple of digs. Wright scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Snow thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Wright makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Snow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wright throws a big elbow that misses. Wright is in close to Snow's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wright keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Snow's head. Wright throws a big elbow that misses. Wright cracks Snow with a solid left hand. Wright would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Snow is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright wants to stand and escape but instead Snow has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Snow postures up in Wright's guard and throws a big left but Wright blocks it. Snow won't allow Wright to sweep him here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wright is on top in guard.

Cleon Wright dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mike Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snow takes a jab right on the kisser.

Wright is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Snow tries to clinch but Wright moves out of range. Wright throws a good cross that connects.

Wright looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Snow misses with a body shot.
Snow fails with the takedown and Wright counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Snow wants to clinch. Wright scores with a shot to the body.
Wright connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Cleon Wright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright slips a straight right by Snow. Wright lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Snow looks to score with a jab to the body but Wright is just out of range. Snow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Snow shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wright circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Snow drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wright follows Snow to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
