Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sasuke Uchiha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddie Mays!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mays thuds a left hand into Uchiha's body.
A head kick from Uchiha lands but Mays takes it in his stride.
Uchiha instigates a clinch.
Uchiha lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Mays jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Uchiha walks away with a smile on his face. Mays gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mays pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mays tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Uchiha counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Uchiha.
Uchiha trying to control the position from guard on top but Mays is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mays looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mays is trying to keep Uchiha in close.
Uchiha content to stall in guard here.

Mays keeping full guard, as Uchiha tries to pass.
Uchiha stands and steps away. Mays gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mays is looking for a sweep. Uchiha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

and Uchiha counters with a single leg into guard. Mays didn't expect that.
Sasuke Uchiha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddie Mays.
Mays has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Uchiha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Uchiha working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mays's head.

Mays throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Uchiha wanted to stand there but Mays had control of the position.

Mays misses with a low kick as Uchiha jumps back.

Mays looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uchiha is fending him off so far but Mays persists. Nope, Uchiha circles away and we're back to standing.

Mays blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Uchiha manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Mays is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Uchiha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Uchiha throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mays escapes and throws Uchiha's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Uchiha won't allow Mays to pass to mount.

Mays is working for a kimura here but Uchiha manages to reverse the position and he's now in Mays's guard.
Uchiha throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mays works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Uchiha trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Mays looking for a sweep. Not yet Mays, not yet.
Mays is controlling Uchiha's posture.
Uchiha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mays's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Uchiha wants to pass the guard but Mays is keeping the position.
Mays has a closed guard, preventing Uchiha from standing up.
Mays lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Uchiha!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Uchiha is trying to stand but he's just given Mays his back.

Freddie Mays showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Uchiha has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mays is not content to let Uchiha control the position.
Mays is trying to stand.
Mays tries to roll over but Uchiha keeps him under control.
Uchiha is looking for a kimura but Mays is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Uchiha to get the leverage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Uchiha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mays scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Mays lands a jab-cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sasuke Uchiha.
I think Uchiha has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
