Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Hollywood (ranked 1830 p4p, 86 weight class) and Nino Brown (ranked 3275 p4p, 153 weight class). Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Yer Killin' Me- Remo Drive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Frankie Hollywood has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frankie Hollywood seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nino Brown! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Hollywood lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though. Hollywood throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it. Brown jabs at Hollywood's body. Brown slips a straight right by Hollywood. Brown is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hollywood's half guard. Hollywood is trying to maintain the position but Brown is very close to passing his half guard. Nice strikes from Brown there. Brown sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hollywood defending well though. Brown lands strikes from half guard. Brown is taking a breather. Hollywood says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Brown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hollywood defends it well. Hollywood slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Hollywood is retaining full guard. Hollywood keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Brown trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hollywood works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hollywood looking for a sweep. Not yet Hollywood, not yet. Brown postures up in Hollywood's guard and throws a big left but Hollywood blocks it. Brown is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hollywood looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brown stands up over Hollywood, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown advances to half guard. Brown landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Brown thows a huge punch but Hollywood dodges it nicely.
Hollywood wants to get back to full guard. Brown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hollywood defends it well. Hollywood manages to get to full guard.

Brown throwing strikes but missing. Hollywood preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hollywood is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Holding Cell that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown connects with a couple of short punches. Brown wants to control from the top but Hollywood keeps moving. Brown throws a big right hand that misses. Hollywood wants to sweep but Brown has passed to side control! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brown throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hollywood on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Brown in side control lands a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nino Brown dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Brown has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hollywood connects with a combination that backs up Brown into the cage. Hollywood lands a flurry of punches that gets past Brown's guard. Brown is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Hollywood bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
