Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilberto Chamba (ranked 3060 p4p, 328 weight class) and Lucifer Evo (ranked 3630 p4p, 390 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucifer Evo!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evo throws a nice inside leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chamba checks a leg kick.
Chamba's jab looks to have found its range, popping Evo under the eye.
Evo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chamba's head backwards.
It looks like Gilberto Chamba has been cut.
Chamba misses with a leg kick.
Evo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chamba.
Chamba misses the shot to the body.
Chamba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Evo connects with a right hand. Chamba shakes it off.
Evo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chamba has been working on his boxing with his coaches at House of 1000 Corpses in the buildup to the fight.
Evo rushes Chamba and presses him up against the cage.
Evo throws a punch but it's blocked by Chamba.
Chamba lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Lucifer Evo has been cut.
Evo misses with a hook from the clinch.
Evo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chamba blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Chamba throws a head punch that misses.
Evo takes a knee to the side of the body.
Chamba lands a nice elbow.
Chamba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chamba misses with a body kick.
Evo moves away from the strike by Chamba.
Chamba swats away the attempt to clinch by Evo.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chamba! Evo is out on his feet! Chamba rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Evo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Evo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gilberto Chamba!
