Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between roy d (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think d might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to do it. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Harmon! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! d scores with a jab to the jaw. d wants to clinch up but Harmon keeps it at a distance. Harmon avoids the body shot from d.
Harmon tries to clinch up and d counters with a straight right hand. Harmon throws a combination that misses and d counters with a nice double leg into side control. Harmon won't be happy with that. d wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harmon keeps working. Harmon wants to get back to his feet but d drags him back down. Harmon dodges the ground and pound from d. Harmon tries to improve position but can't. d lands an elbow. d scoring with punches from side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! d working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. d decides to take the fight back to the feet. Harmon misses with a jab to the body
letting d counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! d fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Harmon on the side of the head. Harmon with a lazy takedown attempt and d counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. d works the jab nicely. Harmon is looking to clinch but d is avoiding it.
d lands a jab to Harmon's midsection. Harmon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. d works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. d advances to half guard. d wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harmon keeps working. d has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Harmon defend it? d steps over the head and cranks it - Harmon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for d!
