The crowd seem to be enjoying Stevens's choice of entrance music: Jump Around. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevens is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Vullmer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Vullmer clinches up with Stevens and pushes him back against the cage.

Vullmer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stevens fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Vullmer has hold of one of Stevens's legs. Stevens is fighting the takedown attempt but Vullmer gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Stevens looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Vullmer passes into side control.

Vullmer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Vullmer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vullmer is in Stevens's guard.

Vullmer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Stevens to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vullmer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Stevens pulls down on the head and he's put Vullmer to sleep! This one is all over!
