PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Barnett (ranked 2142 p4p, 266 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 2822 p4p, 334 weight class). Barnett's entrance music is Move. A fine choice. Moe Lester told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnett throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lester tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Barnett is in Lester's guard.

Barnett looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lester with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lester is sitting in close to Barnett's body. Barnett has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lester is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lester is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Barnett.
