Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sicila (ranked 25345 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Hari (ranked 5848 p4p, 0 weight class). Sicila has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Badr Hari will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Sicila! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Badr Hari! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Sicila or perhaps it was just good defense by Hari, which made it look bad. Sicila is breathing heavily. Hari throws a right hand that Sicila ducks under and follows up with a left that Sicila also avoids with ease. A solid body kick from Hari. Hari shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hari advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hari stands up. Hari drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hari throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sicila works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hari stands up and waves to Sicila to follow him. Sicila gets caught flat footed, as Hari shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hari throwing strikes but missing. Hari slips nicely into half guard. Sicila wants to control but Hari is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Hari might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Hari decides to return to a standing position. Hari shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hari content to stall in guard here. Hari stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hari gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hari pulls guard. Hari wriggles free and stands up. Hari fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sicila, pushing him back against the cage. Hari pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hari has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sicila can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hari has his hands on Sicila's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hari had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sicila defends it easily. Sicila might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hari wants to sweep but no luck. Hari is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hari working for a triangle but Sicila defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Badr Hari dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sicila looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hari is fending him off so far but Sicila persists. Nope, Hari circles away and we're back to standing. Hari lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Hari gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hari gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sicila regains guard.
Hari controlling from the top position. Hari stands and steps away. Sicila gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hari looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sicila! Sicila wants to get back to his feet but Hari is dominant here and he's now got Sicila's back! Sicila looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hari just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hari throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Hari looking for the choke but no joy. A bit of a pause in the action here. Hari controlling the positon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sicila fending off the submission attempt from Hari. Hari looking for the choke but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Hari manages to miss with strikes from the back. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hari misses with an elbow to the head. Hari controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sicila tries to escape but Hari has the hooks in and won't let him break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Badr Hari showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Hari looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sicila tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Hari manages to move to mount!
Hari controlling the pace for now. Hari has hold of Sicila's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sicila manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hari is working Sicila over with some ground and pound from side control. The referee asks Hari politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hari prefers to stall for the moment though. Hari has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hari cracks Sicila with a big right hand but Sicila just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hari decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sicila to his feet. Hari drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sicila wants to get back to his feet but Hari is dominant here and he's now got Sicila's back! Badr Hari has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hari is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sicila defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Hari looking for the choke from the back. Hari throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Sicila wants to get back to his feet. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sicila covering up well under a barage of strikes. Hari is riding his opponent, not letting Sicila buck him off. Hari is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sicila has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A bit of a pause in the action here. Hari controlling the positon.
And that's the end of the fight! Badr Hari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
