Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuudai Ryuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everybody Knows. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Ryuu slips the punch.
Yuudai Ryuu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Jones tries to clinch up but Ryuu circles away and keeps his distance.
Ryuu misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryuu tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryuu to the ground. Ryuu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Ryuu pushes him off.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Ryuu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ryuu has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.
Ryuu pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Ryuu manages to break the clinch.
Jones blocks a head kick by Ryuu.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones clinches but Ryuu breaks the clinch
and Ryuu counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Ryuu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ryuu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ryuu lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jones or not.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ryuu.
Ryuu effectively controlling the action here.

Ryuu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ryuu dances in with a quick combination. Jones is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ryuu snaps Jones's head back. Jones stumbles backwards against the cage. Ryuu steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Jones's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Jones just didn't come prepared.
