Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Narz (ranked 1553 p4p, 75 weight class) and Tadakatsu Honda (ranked 21980 p4p, 351 weight class). Peter Narz had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Narz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tadakatsu Honda! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Narz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Honda's head backwards. Honda staying out of range there. Nice shot by Narz. Nice sprawl there from Narz as Honda shoots in. Honda shoots in but no luck this time. Narz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Narz misses the shot to the body. Narz misses with an uppercut. Honda saw that one coming. Narz throws a looping overhand right but Honda ducks down to avoid it. Narz lands with a straight right. Honda didn't see that one coming. Narz misses with a looping left. Narz tries to move into range but Honda moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Narz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Narz throws a body shot but no joy. Narz missing with a left hand there. Honda was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Narz throws a good cross that connects.

That's one minute gone in the round. Honda blocks a jab. Narz jabs Honda to the body, keeping him at a distance. Narz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Honda was well out of range. Poor timing from Narz. Honda throws a counter combo. Narz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Honda manages to avoid it. Honda lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Narz scores with a jab to the head.
Narz throws a looping overhand right but Honda ducks down to avoid it. A countering left hand to the body from Honda misses. Honda drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Narz is not content to let Honda control the position. Honda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Narz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Narz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Honda off and has taken his back! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Honda tries to roll but Narz sticks to his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Narz tightening his grip on Honda, looking for the choke. Narz is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Narz is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Honda is defending well though. Narz let's go of the attempt for now. Honda is trying to get back to his feet but Narz has full control of the position and if anything, Honda has just worked his way into a worse spot. Narz has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Honda has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

I really don't envy Honda right now.
Honda looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Narz is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Honda has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Honda is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Narz.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Honda is in bad spot here.
Narz is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Honda knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Honda for a finish. You can see the frustration on Honda's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Narz has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Narz is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Narz wants to control but Honda is keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Narz dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Honda appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Honda on the wrong end of a nice jab. Honda takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Narz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Honda manages to avoid it. The fighters circling - Narz throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Honda moves out of range of the strikes. Honda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Narz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Honda can do to turn this around? Narz jabbing away but nothing is landing. Honda with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Narz to score with a decent uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Narz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Narz cracks Honda with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A shot to the body from Narz misses letting Honda counter with a right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Narz lands with a good body shot.

Narz misses with a straight left. Honda swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Narz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Honda looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Honda slips a jab from Narz. Honda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Narz.
Honda on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Honda avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Honda looks like he wants to counter punch here. Narz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Narz moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromHonda. Narz misses the body punch and Honda counters with a right hand to the body. Honda needs to keep his hands up - Narz had a free shot at his head there. Narz takes a swing at Honda's ribcage but misses. Narz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been told by Narz's head coaches at Tōshi that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Honda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Honda looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Narz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Honda was well out of range. Poor timing from Narz. A little jabbing left from Honda on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Honda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Peter Narz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Honda has a takedown stuffed. Narz's corner calls for a 1-2. Narz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Narz thuds a left hand into Honda's body. Honda takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Narz stuns Honda with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Honda motions for Narz to come forward. Honda throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Peter Narz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Narz swings and misses with a shot to the body and Narz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Narz lands a nice hook to Honda's body. Honda takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Honda is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Narz misses with a wild body shot. Honda looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Honda takes a punch right to his stomach. Narz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Narz throws a shot from downtown. Honda moves away and avoids it. Honda looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Narz lands with a nice body punch. A shot to the liver by Narz. Beautiful body shot. Narz loads up on a big right hand but Honda slips the punch. Honda avoids the body shot from Narz.
Narz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Narz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Honda takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Narz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Honda! But no joy. Narz lands a slapping body shot.
Narz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peter Narz is winning the standup battle so far. Narz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Honda moves away. Narz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Honda. Narz misses with a wild body shot. Narz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Honda has time to react. Honda drops his hands momentarily and Narz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Honda is rocked! Honda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Honda is still on wobbly legs! Can Narz finish him? Narz drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Honda's head, knocking him out cold! Narz is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Narz! An out of breath Peter Narz thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
