Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace lands a head kick. Roth smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Kelley Roth has been cut.

Roth pushes Wallace up against the cage in a clinch.

Wallace breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wallace throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Roth.

Wallace tries to keep at a distance but Roth has taken the fight into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wallace takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Despite the aggression on Wallace's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roth sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat.

Wallace tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roth smiles and moves away.

Roth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wallace swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Roth closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wallace quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wallace is looking to escape.
Wallace is doing well to control the position and prevent Roth from advancing to side control.

Roth is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wallace is looking for a sweep. Roth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Roth seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallace does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
