The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamkhalaev is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Karakhanyan's half guard.

Shamkhalaev is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Karakhanyan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

I would just about give that final round to Dmitry Karakhanyan.
