The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barros Gutierrrez blocks a low kick nicely.
Harrell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barros Gutierrrez on his heels. He'll look to pass Barros Gutierrrez's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Barros Gutierrrez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Harrell controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
