Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doyle Brunson (ranked 655 p4p, 70 weight class) and Damien Thorn (ranked 920 p4p, 104 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Doyle Brunson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien Thorn! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorn cracks Brunson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Brunson throws a head kick but Thorn moves out of range.
Thorn moves out of range as Brunson strikes. Thorn connects with a body shot that sends Brunson's belly button to the back. Brunson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Thorn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Thorn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brunsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Thorn lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Brunson defending well as Thorn loads up on a big left hand. Brunson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Private Gym in the buildup to the fight. Brunson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheers as Brunson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thorn doesn't seem phased though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thorn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brunson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Thorn looks to score with a jab to the body but Brunson is just out of range. Brunson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thorn. Brunson avoids the body shot from Thorn.
Thorn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Brunson throws a head kick that misses. Brunson clinches up with Thorn and pushes him back against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Brunson.
It looks like Damien Thorn has been cut. Brunson lands a nice elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brunson misses with an elbow over the top. Thorn tries to break free but Brunson pushes him back against the cage. Thorn wants to get back to striking at distance but Brunson won't allow it.
Thorn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Thorn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Brunson tries to close the distance and clinch but Thorn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brunson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Thorn swinging wildly here.
Thorn lands a jab to Brunson's midsection. Thorn tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brunson is able to avoid easily. A head kick misses from Brunson. A low kick from Thorn is predictable there and Brunson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Thorn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Oooooh!!! Thorn has knocked Brunson down with a huge combo! Thorn steps away and waves a wobbly Brunson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Brunson is rocked!
It looks like Doyle Brunson has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brunson wants to clinch. Oh Brunson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brunson wants to clinch. Thorn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brunson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Brunson seems to have got his legs back now. Thorn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brunson. Thorn jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A big left from Brunson misses. Thorn swings away with a leg kick that misses. Brunson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brunson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Thorn. Brunson takes the fight into the clinch. Thorn has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Thorn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Thorn swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brunson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Brunson pushes off an throws an elbow but Thorn leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Brunson throws an elbow but it misses.
Thorn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brunson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thorn.
A big right from Brunson misses. The fighters circling - Brunson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thorn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brunson. Thorn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brunson. Thorn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brunson on the side of the head. Thorn drops Brunson with a beautiful combination! Brunson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thorn is looking for the KO! Thorn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brunson.
Brunson lands with a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thorn swings for the body but Brunson moves out of range.
Thorn tests Brunson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Brunson misses with a body shot.
Thorn throws out a loose jab but Brunson uses good head movement to avoid it. Thorn misses the jab. Brunson connects with a right hand. Thorn shakes it off. Thorn lands with a right hand. Brunson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thorn moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thorn connects with a looping right hand.
Thorn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Thorn pounces like a tiger and cracks Brunson with a vicious hook! Brunson is down but not out! Thorn follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Damien Thorn! Damien Thorn bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
