Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wolfgang Lee Roth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Bogard!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee Roth avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee Roth throws a lazy uppercut
and Bogard counters with a nice leg kick.
Bogard digs a good body shot into Lee Roth's ribs.
Bogard cracks Lee Roth with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bogard looks to land a combination but Lee Roth avoids it well.
Lee Roth swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bogard drops Lee Roth with a right and a left! Bogard comes rushing in but Lee Roth regains his composure and manages to keep Bogard in guard.
Lee Roth is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bogard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Oh Lee Roth is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bogard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bogard is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lee Roth is trying to escape and Bogard transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lee Roth is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bogard! Very nice indeed!

Andy Bogard really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that IniTech Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
