The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berhardt throws a hook but Williamson blocks it.
Williamson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Berhardt attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A little feinted left hand from Williamson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Williamson throws a looping overhand right but Berhardt ducks down to avoid it.
Williamson scores with a jab.
Williamson lands a lovely overhand right.
A head kick misses from Berhardt.
Williamson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Williamson throws a lazy uppercut
and Berhardt counters with a straight right hand.
Berhardt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Berhardt throws a counter combo.
Berhardt lands a jab to the head.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Williamson enables Berhardt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Williamson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williamson wants to stand up but Berhardt is controlling him.
Berhardt content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Williamson has locked up a guillotine! Williamson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Berhardt is holding on here and Williamson must be using up a lot of energy. Berhardt has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Williamson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
