Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Soo Bae (ranked 24318 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Torito (ranked 2848 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Soo Bae! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, El Torito! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torito displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bae throws out the jab. Torito misses with a double jab.

so Torito counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Torito looks winded! Torito slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Torito landing some decent shots from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bae wants to stand and escape but Torito is having none of it. Torito's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bae could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bae is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bae utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bae throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Torito counters with a nice uppercut. Torito manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bae on his heels. He'll look to pass Bae's guard now, I'm sure. Torito engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bae can't keep his opponent in guard - Torito advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torito scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nice strikes from Torito there. Bae might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Torito is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bae on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Torito controlling the pace. Torito looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bae with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bae is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torito working the head and body with strikes. Oh Bae is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bae is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Torito scores with a couple of nice shots. Torito scores with a big shot! Bae's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bae! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). El Torito!
