Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Stark (ranked 1549 p4p, 184 weight class) and Adam Deadmarsh (ranked 1879 p4p, 220 weight class). Brandon Stark has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Deadmarsh!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Stark misses the target.
Stark throws a right and a left that both miss.
Deadmarsh ducks under a wild hook from Stark.
Stark has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Stark takes one on the button.
Deadmarsh staying out of range there.
Deadmarsh throws out a loose jab but Stark uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Deadmarsh lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Stark went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Stark throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Deadmarsh.
Stark throws a jab when Deadmarsh was well out of range.
Stark avoids a kick to the body.
Stark looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Deadmarsh misses with a straight right.
Deadmarsh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stark.
Deadmarsh thumps Stark with a low kick.
Stark closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Deadmarsh quickly recovers to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stark is trying to control the action in half guard but Deadmarsh is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stark lands a nice short elbow.
Stark seems to be working for a kimura but Deadmarsh defends the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark is working for a kimura but Deadmarsh is defending it quite comfortably.

Deadmarsh moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stark working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Stark keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Deadmarsh's head.
Deadmarsh wants to sweep here but Stark controlling him for the moment.
Stark trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stark controlling from the top position.
Stark wants to control from the top but Deadmarsh keeps moving.
Deadmarsh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Deadmarsh trying to keep a closed guard but Stark is proving a slippery customer.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Deadmarsh holds on and takes a little breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Deadmarsh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stark shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Deadmarsh is trying to defend but Stark finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Stark wants to pass to mount but Deadmarsh is defending the position.
Stark wants to take a breather but Deadmarsh is having none of it.
Deadmarsh is trying to get back to full guard.

Stark is trying for a kimura here. Deadmarsh looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Stark wins by kimura!

Brandon Stark opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
