Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kekko Karjala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karjala has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzeneg bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Schwarzeneg lands a nice forearm strike.
Schwarzeneg moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Karjala really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schwarzeneg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schwarzeneg is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Karjala is trying to escape and Schwarzeneg transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Karjala is forced to tap! Nice work there by Schwarzeneg! Very nice indeed!
