The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koloff throws a sloppy head kick and Buckley moves out of range easily.
Koloff throws a head kick but Buckley moves out of range.
Buckley throws a big counter combination but Koloff scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Buckley on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Buckley moves into the clinch.
Buckley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Buckley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koloff fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Koloff lands a nice hook to Buckley's body. Buckley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Buckley shoots in for a takedown but Koloff shows good takedown defense.
Koloff connects with a high kick.
Buckley is rocked!
It looks like Christian Buckley has been cut.
OH! Buckley has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Koloff smells blood and charges in for the finish! Koloff unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Buckley sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ivan Koloff!
