Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jonathan Castillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcelo Costa De Andrade!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Andrade dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Castillo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castillo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
De Andrade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castillo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Castillo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down De Andrade for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
De Andrade scores with a crisp jab that stopped Castillo in his tracks.

Castillo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
