Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dion Frost (ranked 24637 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Azn (ranked 5722 p4p, 627 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dion Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russell Azn! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azn looks to land a right hand but Frost moved out of range. Azn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Frost was covering up waiting for the punch and Azn finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Frost managing to control the position. Azn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Azn wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost managing to control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Frost being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Azn has closed the distance and engaged Frost in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Frost tries to pull guard but Azn won't allow it.
Azn works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Frost keeping moving, preventing Azn from controlling successfully. Frost wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Azn manages to pass to side control. Frost wants to get back to full guard. Azn not landing any meaningful shots this time. Frost trying to control here.
Frost tries to kick Azn off but Azn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost is looking for a sweep. Azn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Frost trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Azn manages to pass to mount!
Azn avoids the attempt from Frost to control. Frost is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Frost trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Azn looking to control but Frost is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Frost keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Azn controlling the position easily from mount. Azn with good strikes from the mount here! Frost working to try and regain half guard.
Azn thowing shots but they're missing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frost manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Frost, under a barage of strikes from Azn.
Azn with the ground and pound but Frost uses the opportunity to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Russell Azn dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Azn shoots in and bounces Frost off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Frost wants to stand up but Azn is controlling him. Azn gets to his feet. Frost looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Azn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Frost pushes Azn off and gets back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Azn misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Azn wants to pass the guard but Frost is defending well. Frost trying to control here.
Frost moves into full guard.
Azn wants to pass the guard but Frost is keeping the position. Azn trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Frost looking to hit a scissor sweep but Azn is one step ahead there. Frost keeping moving, preventing Azn from controlling successfully. Azn is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Frost will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Frost looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Azn! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Azn is looking to regain half guard here but Frost keeps moving and retains side control. Frost cracks Azn with an elbow. That is naaassty. Azn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Frost wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Azn is breathing heavily. Azn looks to move to half guard but instead Frost has passed into mount! Damn! Azn is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost working the ground and pound effectively.
Azn is squirming around, avoiding Frost's attempts to control the action. Frost with a couple of short strikes. Frost controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frost lands a heavy elbow. Frost will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Frost is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Azn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dion Frost dominated that second round. That's time! Frost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Azn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Azn landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Frost manages to get to full guard.
Russell Azn has got the better of the ground game so far. Frost trying to control the position.
Azn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frost swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azn trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom. Frost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost wants to stand up but Azn is controlling him. Azn stands up over Frost, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Frost wants to stand and escape but Azn is having none of it. Frost is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frost keeping moving, preventing Azn from controlling successfully. Frost is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Excellent takedown into side control there by Azn. Frost is trying to control Azn's posture but Azn avoids it. Azn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Azn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Azn postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Azn working away. Frost manages to work his way to half guard, despite Azn's best efforts. Frost is staying active underneath Azn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Frost is looking to improve his position.
Azn throws a strike but Frost avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Azn wanted to stand there but Frost had control of the position. Frost keeping moving, preventing Azn from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Frost drives through with a takedown into guard. Azn has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Frost has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Frost wants to take the fight to the mat but Azn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Azn gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Frost regains guard.
Azn throws a big right hand that misses. Frost has control of Azn's left arm, preventing Azn from doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Russell Azn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Azn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
