Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kylar Sensei (ranked 587 p4p, 69 weight class) and Malaki Lima (ranked 1135 p4p, 126 weight class). Malaki Lima has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kylar Sensei's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kylar Sensei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Malaki Lima! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sensei misses the shot to the body. Sensei changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lima tries to avoid it but Sensei manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lima to the ground. Lima escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lima! But no joy. Lima jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lima avoids the body shot from Sensei.
Sensei is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lima sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lima misses with a looping right. Sensei uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sensei connects with a body shot. Sensei moves out of range of the body kick. Sensei fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lima manages to avoid it. Lima throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sensei stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sensei moves out of range of the leg kick from Lima. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sensei dives in for a single leg takedown but Lima sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kylar Sensei. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sensei scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Good standup being displayed there by Lima as he connects with a hook. Lima throws a body shot but no joy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lima takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sensei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lima.

Sensei fails with a takedown attempt. Lima fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sensei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Sensei moves out of range as Lima throws a body kick.
Lima moves out of range as Sensei strikes. As Sensei backs off Lima throws a huge counter combo but Sensei manages to avoid it all. Lima lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sensei's sensitive parts. Sensei throws a shot from downtown. Lima moves away and avoids it. Lima misses with a left hand and Sensei counters with a straight right hand. Malaki Lima is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sensei lands a nice shot to the body.
Lima lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A momentary lapse in concentration from Lima enables Sensei to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lima manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sensei postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sensei landing with the ground and pound. Sensei definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lima working a defensive guard but Sensei manages to pass into side control anyway.
Lima struggling a bit here. Lima tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sensei landing strikes. Lima defending against the ground and pound. Lima is looking to reverse the position. Sensei looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lima is avoiding damage well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sensei tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sensei has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sensei throws an elbow but Lima slips to the side and avoids it well. Sensei advances to mount. Sensei tries to control but Lima wriggling away. Lima wants to control but Sensei is having none of it. Sensei throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lima because Sensei loaded up on that one. Lima wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sensei.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sensei lands a big shot there that rocks Lima but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Sensei has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sensei landing strikes from the mount and Lima is in trouble! Sensei has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lima's face.

Kylar Sensei dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lima with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sensei to score with a decent uppercut. Jab from Sensei. Kylar Sensei is winning the standup battle so far. Sensei misses with a looping right. Lima takes one to the chin there. Lima takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sensei lands a nice hook to Lima's body. Lima takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sensei misses with a straight left. Sensei takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sensei misses with a takedown attempt - Lima sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sensei uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lima. Sensei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lima tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sensei was well out of range. Poor timing from Lima. Lima throws out a leg kick but Sensei moves out of range and Lima only half commits. Lima has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sensei swings for the body but Lima moves out of range.

A wild punch that just about connected. Sensei smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sensei cracks Lima with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lima looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sensei moves out of range as Lima strikes. Sensei pushes Lima against the cage but Lima circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kylar Sensei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sensei shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A looping hook to the body misses from Lima. Sensei does a little dance to reset his feet. Lima works Sensei's body with a nice hook. Lima feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sensei's calf. Sensei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lima looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sensei misses the jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lima! But no joy. Sensei getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Lima closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lima ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lima was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Sensei throws an off balance right hand

Sensei closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sensei lands in his opponent's guard. Lima is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sensei is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Sensei content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Lima is not content to let Sensei control the position. Sensei performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Sensei's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sensei is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lima doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sensei. Sensei takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sensei trying to control the action but Lima is working from the bottom. Lima wants to control but Sensei is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Kylar Sensei showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sensei has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
