Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seghir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hamada can pounce on him.

Hamada tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Seghir smiles and moves away.

Hamada tries to sprawl but Seghir drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Seghir must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hamada is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Seghir is defending well.

Hamada stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seghir swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hamada misses with a takedown attempt - Seghir sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hamada swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Seghir has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hamada looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Seghir is fending him off so far but Hamada persists. Nope, Seghir circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
