Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Black Rob (ranked 7164 p4p, 468 weight class) and Carl James (ranked 5227 p4p, 398 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Carl James enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rob shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Rob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rob has a takedown stuffed.
Despite the aggression on James's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A relieved looking Black Rob thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
