Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hektor Hagoma (ranked 1520 p4p, 228 weight class) and Azizi Camara (ranked 3019 p4p, 415 weight class). Hektor Hagoma has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hektor Hagoma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Azizi Camara! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hagoma throws a lazy right hand but Camara sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hagoma leaves Camara with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Camara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hagoma sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Camara somewhat. Camara is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Camara fails with the takedown. Hektor Hagoma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Azizi Camara. Hagoma scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Azizi Camara has been cut. Hagoma throws a shot from downtown. Camara moves away and avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Camara. Hagoma looks to throw the jab but Camara is out of range. Camara shoots in and drives through. Hagoma sprawls well. We've been told by Hagoma's head coaches at Fit-Out that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hagoma fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Camara shoots in and drives through. Hagoma sprawls well. Camara shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hagoma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hagoma scores with a crisp jab that stopped Camara in his tracks. Camara closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hagoma circles away. Hagoma throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Camara sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hagoma lands with a shot to the body. Camara doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hagoma counters with a lovely straight right hand! Camara looks winded! Hagoma throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Camara on the side of the head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Camara has his takedown stuffed and Hagoma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Camara is rocked! Hagoma lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Camara head around and knocks him out cold! Hagoma hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hektor Hagoma! Hektor Hagoma was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, Azizi Camara stepped up to the mic, saying 'Just a mistake in my road to greatness'.
