Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Waddell!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waddell tries to clinch there but Shaw circles away.
Shaw looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Shaw shoots in and drives through. Waddell sprawls well.

Waddell tries to close the distance and clinch but Shaw swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Waddell moves into the clinch.
Shaw jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Waddell walks away with a smile on his face. Shaw gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Waddell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Waddell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Waddell lands in his opponent's guard.

Shaw has his foot on Waddell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Waddell works his way back into a safe position though.

Shaw has his feet on Waddell's thighs here. He's pushed Waddell off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Waddell screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
