Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zdravko Saric (ranked 481 p4p, 27 weight class) and Gunnar Steigelmann (ranked 510 p4p, 29 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steigelmann looks for the body kick but Saric saw that one coming.
Steigelmann takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Gunnar Steigelmann has been cut.
Steigelmann throws an overhand right that lands on Saric's shoulder, as Saric tries to avoid the shot.
Steigelmann misses with a looping right.
Steigelmann throws a one two combo.
Steigelmann displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saric throws out the jab.
Steigelmann ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Steigelmann misses with a straight right.
Saric has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Saric there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Zdravko Saric has been cut.
Saric misses with a hook.
Steigelmann misses with a left hand
and Saric counters with a nice uppercut.
Saric delivers a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steigelmann misses with a hook. Saric ducked under it nicely.
Steigelmann steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Saric.
Saric misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Steigelmann.
The fighters circling - Steigelmann throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Saric jabs Steigelmann right on the nose. Steigelmann blinks but takes it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steigelmann throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Saric appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Saric avoids a kick to the body.
Saric is looking to counter punch.
Steigelmann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Saric.
Steigelmann takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Saric slips under a jab.
Saric looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Saric drops Steigelmann with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Steigelmann looks back up at him and smiles so Saric waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Steigelmann lands a lovely overhand right.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steigelmann on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Steigelmann has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Saric feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Steigelmann sprawling to the canvas! Steigelmann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Saric finish him?!
Steigelmann is rocked!
That has opened up Gunnar Steigelmann's cut even more.
Steigelmann on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Saric. Saric obviously looking to wear him down.
Steigelmann is still on wobbly legs! Can Saric finish him?
Saric moves in close and cracks Steigelmann with a massive right hand! Steigelmann, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Saric!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zdravko Saric!
Zdravko Saric seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
