Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Goff (ranked 6199 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tone Steamo (ranked 5650 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steamo shoots in for a double leg but Goff sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Goff tries to counter by clinching up but Steamo breaks away and moves out of range.
Steamo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Goff quickly recovers to half guard.
Goff has one foot on Steamo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Steamo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Goff on his heels. He'll look to pass Goff's guard now, I'm sure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goff wants to stand and escape but Steamo is having none of it.
Steamo postures up and lands a big shot to Goff's brow.
Goff has control of Steamo's left arm, preventing Steamo from doing any damage.
Steamo chips away with some ground and pound.
Goff is pulling down on Steamo's head to control his posture.
Goff manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Steamo is trying to trip Goff. He has hold of a leg but Goff is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Steamo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Goff can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steamo controls the pace.

Steamo lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Steamo.

Steamo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Steamo lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

What can Goff do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steamo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Goff sneaks out the side door and pushes Steamo away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Steamo is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Goff hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
