Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Butabi (ranked 644 p4p, 94 weight class) and DJ Kat (ranked 1440 p4p, 186 weight class). Butabi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Make That Money. DJ Kat acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steve Butabi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DJ Kat! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kat throws a jab but it's blocked by Butabi. Butabi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kat. Butabi misses with a looping left. A telegraphed right hand from Butabi misses the target. Butabi throws a shot to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kat checks a leg kick. Butabi jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kat jabs Butabi to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kat throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Left hook, right uppercut from Kat. Butabi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Butabi slips a jab from Kat. Butabi misses with a body shot.
Kat lands with a nice combination. Butabi backs away looking to recover. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kat enables Butabi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Butabi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kat preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butabi pushes down on Kat's leg and manages to get into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Butabi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Butabi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
