Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ming Xin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pentti Hirvonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xin comes to the cage accompanied by Chinese Athem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirvonen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hirvonen clobbers Xin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hirvonen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hirvonen thows a huge punch but Xin dodges it nicely.
Hirvonen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Xin!
Hirvonen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Xin is looking to escape.

Hirvonen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Xin checks it well.
Xin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Xin throws out a loose jab but Hirvonen uses good head movement to avoid it.

Xin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ming Xin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pentti Hirvonen.

Hirvonen shoots in looking for a takedown. Xin tries to sprawl out of it but Hirvonen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hirvonen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Xin's brow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hirvonen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Xin manages to avoid it.

Xin cracks Hirvonen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Xin counters with a series of strikes that sends Hirvonen to the canvas! Xin follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
