Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between French Fried (ranked 4912 p4p, 381 weight class) and Salvador Sanchez (ranked 5197 p4p, 399 weight class). French Fried has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, French Fried! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Salvador Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fried slips under a jab from Sanchez. Fried throws a jab when Sanchez was well out of range. Fried looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fried throws a nice looking combination but Sanchez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Salvador Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fried avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fried was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Sanchez misses with a double jab.
Fried takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses. Sanchez throws a series of punches but Fried moves out of range. Fried tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sanchez lands with a good body shot. Sanchez connects with a single shot there. Sloppy strikes from Sanchez. Those never looked like landing. Fried moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Salvador Sanchez has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fried takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses. Sanchez listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Sanchez connects with a jab. Fried throws a big shot that misses. We've been told by Fried's head coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fried throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sanchez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fried throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fried ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sanchez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sanchez scores to the head and body with a nice combination! No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fried throws a jab when Sanchez was well out of range. Fried looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanchez is just out of range. Sanchez changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. A telegraphed right hand from Sanchez misses the target. Fried lands a nice hook to Sanchez's body. Sanchez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sanchez works Fried's body with a nice hook. Sanchez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fried momentarily.
Sanchez misses with a double jab.
Fried lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively. Sanchez is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Sanchez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fried's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fried moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A punch combination from Sanchez misses. Fried lands with a right hand. Sanchez with a body punch. A glancing blow. Fried cracks Sanchez with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sanchez tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Fried pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sanchez is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). French Fried! A relieved looking French Fried thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
