Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Tidwell (ranked 3806 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Slobodyanyuk (ranked 5156 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman Slobodyanyuk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tidwell throws a sloppy head kick and Slobodyanyuk moves out of range easily.
Slobodyanyuk doesn't manage to clinch there - Tidwell circles away.

A little feinted left hand from Tidwell on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Slobodyanyuk wants to clinch.
Tidwell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tidwell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Slobodyanyuk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tidwell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Slobodyanyuk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tidwell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Slobodyanyuk is tightening it up a little... Tidwell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tidwell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tidwell taps out! Nice BJJ there by Slobodyanyuk!
