Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chienh Chih Wu (ranked 8540 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adylbek Beyshengaziev (ranked 4953 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chienh Chih Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adylbek Beyshengaziev! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Beyshengaziev defends well and Wu ends up having to push Beyshengaziev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Beyshengaziev throws a counter combo. Wu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beyshengaziev swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chienh Chih Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beyshengaziev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beyshengaziev is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Beyshengaziev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wu swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu is looking for a triangle but Beyshengaziev pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beyshengaziev is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wu wants to stand but Beyshengaziev is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beyshengaziev throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Beyshengaziev gets to his feet. Wu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Beyshengaziev on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wu. Wu obviously looking to wear him down.
Beyshengaziev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beyshengaziev lands in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beyshengaziev wants to stand but Wu has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wu keeping full guard, as Beyshengaziev tries to pass. Wu wants to sweep here but Beyshengaziev controlling him for the moment. Beyshengaziev controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beyshengaziev sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Beyshengaziev throwing strikes from guard but Wu blocks nicely.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wu tries to clinch up. Beyshengaziev swings for the body but Wu moves out of range.
Wu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Beyshengaziev's waist but Beyshengaziev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wu off to one side. Beyshengaziev closes the distance and clinches. The referee calls for Beyshengaziev to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wu pushes Beyshengaziev off looking to stand but Beyshengaziev dives back in and keeps control.

Wu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beyshengaziev is working away from the top position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wu tries to clinch up. Wu sets himself, and Beyshengaziev steps forward looking for the clinch! Wu avoids it this time. Beyshengaziev closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wu is not content to let Beyshengaziev control the position. Adylbek Beyshengaziev has got the better of the ground game so far. Wu tries to bench press Beyshengaziev off him but Beyshengaziev keeps the position. Beyshengaziev tries to stand but Wu is controlling his head. Beyshengaziev is trying to get an arm triangle but Wu is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Beyshengaziev off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Beyshengaziev staying busy and making it hard for Wu to control. Beyshengaziev defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Beyshengaziev trying to control the action but Wu just sinks the hooks in. Beyshengaziev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Beyshengaziev staying busy and making it hard for Wu to control. Despite being in a bad position, Beyshengaziev is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. Wu tries to keep control of the position but Beyshengaziev is staying busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wu has the hooks in. Beyshengaziev is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Beyshengaziev prevents Wu from getting a body triangle. Wu is working the ground and pound. Can Beyshengaziev escape? Wu struggling to keep hold of the position.
You can see the frustration on Beyshengaziev's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Beyshengaziev prevents Wu from getting a body triangle. Wu gets his hands free as Beyshengaziev looks to control. Beyshengaziev is really stuck here.
Wu somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Beyshengaziev tries to break free.
Beyshengaziev wants to get back to his feet. Wu tries to keep control of the position but Beyshengaziev is staying busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wu not allowing Beyshengaziev to control his hands. Beyshengaziev covering up well under a series of strikes from Wu. Beyshengaziev trying to survive by controlling the hands. Beyshengaziev wants to escape the position.

Chienh Chih Wu dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Beyshengaziev has a takedown stuffed. Wu is looking to counter with head kicks. Wu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beyshengaziev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wu somewhat. Beyshengaziev gets the takedown into side control. Beyshengaziev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beyshengaziev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beyshengaziev is looking to stall here but Wu recovers full guard. Wu wants to sweep here but Beyshengaziev controlling him for the moment. Beyshengaziev wants to pass the guard but Wu is keeping the position. Wu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Beyshengaziev controls the pace. Beyshengaziev wants to get up but he can't break Wu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Wu is trying to control the position but Beyshengaziev postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Beyshengaziev misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wu.
Beyshengaziev closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wu did well to prevent Beyshengaziev getting side control. Beyshengaziev is trying to control. Wu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Beyshengaziev misses with a head shot. Wu uses the momentum to regain guard. Beyshengaziev engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Wu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beyshengaziev's guard. Beyshengaziev looking for a sweep. Not yet Beyshengaziev, not yet. Beyshengaziev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beyshengaziev takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wu wants to control from the top but Beyshengaziev keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Adylbek Beyshengaziev. I think Beyshengaziev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
